Miley Ray Cyrus (born Destiny Hope Cyrus[ on November 23, 1992) an American singer, songwriter, and actress. Cyrus rose to fame starring as the title character in the Disney Channel series Hannah Montana. Cyrus's solo music career began with the release of her debut album, Meet Miley Cyrus on June 23, 2007 Her second album, Breakout, was released on July 22, 2008. Both albums debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. The Time of Our Lives, was released on August 28, 2009. The lead single from the album, "Party in the U.S.A.", became Cyrus's highest charting and Hollywood Records'
Cyrus also starred in Bolt in 2008, and recorded "I Thought I Lost You" for the soundtrack for which she earned a Golden Globe nomination. She starred in the film spin-off of Hannah Montana, titled Hannah Montana: The Movie which was released on April 10, 2009. It was announced awhile back that Miley would be starring in Wings and according to Variety, her and Demi Moore are in talks to star together in a remake of the French hit “L.O.L.: Laughing Out Loud.” Pic tells the story of a 15-year-old girl who, dumped by her more sexually experienced boyfriend, sets her sights on his best friend. At the same time, her 40-year-old divorcee mother is struggling to move on with her life. The fraught relationship between mother and daughter provides the film with its narrative backbone, along with the younger generation’s obsession with instant messaging. There’s also a rumor circulating that Miley will star in Girls Just Want to Have Fun
